Harry Belafonte (1927-) is a Jamaican-American musician, actor, and activist best known for popularizing calypso music with international audiences, and his involvement in the American Civil Rights movement. Most of the collection is from Saunders' time as a lead photographer for the United States Information Agency where he photographed and interviewed for Topic, a magazine distributed in Africa.
